Thursday, June 6, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was awake and still looking sleepy - calm and lying on her left side. Tom informed she woke up around 7:10am.

8:25AM - Maureen closed her eyes back to sleep.

8:40AM - Maureen woke up again. Waited 10mins before we administer 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce (on upright position).

8:50AM - Me and Joanna started to wash Maureen's upper body with warmed purple wipes. No redness/rashes on skin observed. Diaper was dry. We finished dressing Maureen then, moved to the kitchen.

9:00AM - Breakfast started with 6oz prune juice with 1/4 cap of MiraLAX, oatmeal/fruit smoothie and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. Coughed once, used suction machine.

MiraLAX daily dose - 1/4 cap

9:20AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

**Maureen had 1/2 cup of lemon water.

9:28AM - Oral care.

9:35AM - We decided to do Nebulizer treatment with Saline to Maureen to help soften her phlegm and moisturize her nostrils.

9:45AM - Facial and hand care routine.

10:00AM - We are going out for a walk. 🌞

10:55AM - We came back home from a very good walk. Weather is good, breezy and sunny. Maureen had a good time.

***She had 1/4 cup of lemon water.

11:30AM - Maureen had a 15min nap before we transferred her to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. We position Maureen to face her right side.

12:40PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was dry. Finished dressing Maureen then, transferred to the kitchen.

12:50PM - Lunch was tuna salad, fresh sliced tomato and chicken veggie soup. Maureen has 2 spoonfuls of yogurt and a cup of sparkling water. No coughs.

**We reclined geri chair one notch prior to lunch for comfort.

1:35PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen was sitting comfortably on her recliner, more awake while listening to the music.

2:30PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet. We cleaned/dried and changed Maureen then, position to face her left side.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was dry. We dressed Maureen then, headed to the front room.

3:40PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear & melon).
