Thursday, July 25, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was awake - still looking sleepy and lying on her left side.

8:30AM - In an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:45AM - Maureen was ready to start her day. Me and Joanna washed her upper body with warmed purple wipes. Diaper was clean and dry - no discharges, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing and moved to the kitchen.

8:55AM - Administered 2 tabs of 50mg Senna S (crushed) with apple sauce.

Breakfast started with cut up pear, 6oz prune juice and warm coffee. She also had oatmeal/fruit smoothie and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt and 1/4 cup of lemon water. No coughs. **Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.

9:50AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

10:10AM - Oral care.

10:20AM - Eye care/ eye drops routine. Followed with facial and hand care routine.

10:35AM - BP: 110/64, P: 72bpm

11:35AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with extra large formed bowel movement. We cleaned her thoroughly, dried and changed her. Position to face her right side.

12:40PM - 1st break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We proceed to dressed Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.

12:50PM - Lunch was egg salad, avocado and fresh tomato. She finished a cup of coconut water. Maureen enjoyed her lunch. No coughs.

**Reclined geri chair one notch prior to eating due to Maureen leaning forward a little bit.

1:30PM - Oral care.

Nebulizer treatment - Saline sol'n and Albuterol.

2:10PM - Maureen had half a cup of lemon water.

2:30PM - It's time for Maureen's 2nd rest break, diaper was still clean and dry. Position to face her left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet - no discharges. Cleaned/dried and changed Maureen. We dressed her and moved to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon). Maureen finished a cup of lemon water prior to the fruits.
