Thursday, January 16, 2025 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen’s awake and receptive to sips of water via swab. As per Tom, Maureen woke with a mild episode and has been awake since.

• 8:40am Maureen’s awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:45am Blood pressure: 100/60, P 62.

• 8:50am Joanna and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Diaper is dry and clear, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:10am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice with a full cap of Miralax, 1/2 activia yogurt, scrambled soft scrambled egg with tomato/onion/pepper and cheese, and 1/4 cup of water. Coughed three times.

• 9:25am Administered 10mg Loratadine with yogurt.

• Daily Miralax dosage: 1 cap

• 10:00am Oral care.

• 10:10am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• Maureen stayed awake the whole time after her morning routine, in the meantime, she had 3/4 cup of water.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Applied a thin layer of nystatin to redness spot by her abdomen fold, then positioned on her right side.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper is dry and clean, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Chicken and rice soup with guacamole, rice pudding, and a cup of coconut water. Coughed three times.

• 2:20pm Maureen’s been alert the whole time while listening to her playlist. She finished a cup of ginger tea before going for her break.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper with a medium-soft BM, positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living area.

• 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (apple, banana, melon).
