Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen is calmly sleeping lying on her left side. According to Dalia, Maureen woke up at 6:50am with very slight twitching, her pulse raised up to 120bpm but immediately went down in a couple of minutes. Episode (very mild) lasted between 8-10mins. **Sips water via swab. Then, went back to sleep at 7:15am.

8:38AM - Maureen woke up and we will give her a little bit of time before giving her the morning meds.

9:00AM - We raised the bed up and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine wjth apple sauce.

9:10AM - We started Maureen's upper body wash using warmed purple wipes with Aloe Vesta. No redness on right underarm and body observed. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum, and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then transferred to the kitchen.

9:20AM - Breakfast started with 6 oz. prune juice, fruit/oatmeal smoothie, and yogurt. Maureen finished a cup of lemon water as well. Coughed once, sneezed once. Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.

**No MiraLAX or Senna S today.

9:45AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with yogurt.

10:00AM - Oral care.

10:15AM - Eye care and eye drops routine. Facial and hand care routine followed.

10:45AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap right after morning routine was done.

11:15AM - Maureen opened her eyes from nap.

11:30AM - 110/65, P: 73 bpm

11:35AM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was dry. Positioned to face in her right side at starting 11:45AM.

12:45PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, cleaned and changed. Transferred Maureen to the kitchen.

1:00PM - Lunch was chicken and veggie soup, tuna salad, fresh tomato, and yogurt. Maureen finished 12oz of sparkling water. Coughed once.

**Reclined geri chair one notch prior to lunch due to Maureen leaning forward a little bit.

1:40PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen's awake sitting comfortably on her recliner.

2:30PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper qas medium wet, we cleaned and changed. Position to face her left side starting at 2:40pm.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was dry. We transferred Maureen to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon) time. Maureen enjoyed her fruit snack while watching her game shows. No coughs.
