Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was awake lying calmly on her left side. Tom informed Maureen has been awake since 5:45am and has been sleeping in and out and accepting water via swabs in between.

8:35AM - We raised the bed up and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine and apple sauce.

8:45AM - Me and Joanna started washing Maureen's upper body using warmed purple wipes with Aloe Vesta. No redness on skin observed. Diaper was medium wet. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. We cleaned and changed her. Finished dressing and transferred to the kitchen.

8:55AM - Administered Senna S (crushed) with apple sauce. Maureen had a cup of lemon water as well.

9:05AM - Breakfast started with 8oz of prune juice, fruit/oatmeal smoothie with 2 prunes, and yogurt. No coughs.

9:35AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

9:50AM - Oral care.

9:55AM - Facial and hand care routine. Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.

10:30AM - Maureen comfortably sitting on her recliner, awake. Carolyn and Tom's sister Karen came by to visit.

11:00AM - Maureen had 1/4 cup of lemon water.

11:30AM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face Maureen to the right side starting at 11:40am.

12:40PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Transferred Maureen to the kitchen.

12:50PM - BP: 110/63, P: 68 bpm

Lunch was tuna salad, fresh sliced tomatoes, veggie soup, and yogurt. Maureen had a cup of sparkling water. No coughs. **Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

1:40PM - Oral care.

**Maureen had 1/2 cup of lemon water.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face her left side.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was dry. Dressed Maureen then proceed to the front room.

3:40PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
