8:00am Maureen sleeps soundly lying on her left side.
Oxygen is ON
Temp: 97.4
Pulse: 82
O2: 98
8:30am Maureen is still sleeping.
9:10am Maureen woke up calmly and receptive to sips of water via swab about 20 minutes ago. Now, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
9:12am Blood pressure: 101/55.
9:17am Saline and Albuterol Neb treatment.
9:40am Joanna and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the living room.
Oxigen is ON
10:00am Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.
10:02am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, scrambled egg with tomato, onion and cheese, banana and 3oz of apple juice. Maureen coughed three while drinking, suction pump used once.
No MiraLAX administered
10:45am Oral care, eyes wash/drops and hands cream routine performed.
11:00am Maureen ate her breakfast with appetite and minimal coughing. She’s showing no signs of congestion or discomfort, is now totally relaxed while washing a tv show.
Carolyn and Caren visit Maureen.
11:18am Administered 20ml expectorant with apple sauce,. She had 2oz of water after.
11:35am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.
12:30pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living room.
Oxygen is ON
12:45pm Lunch: Shrimp salad with avocado, and 10oz of lemon water. Maureen coughed twice during meal.
1:30pm Oral care.
1:45pm Albuterol Neb treatment.
Maureen relaxes back closing her eyes for 35 minutes right after Neb therapy.
2:35pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, positioned on her right side.
3:30pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/apple/banana), with 1oz lemon water.
Total liquids ingested: 25oz.
