Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was awake already, lying on her left side. Tom informed that she woke up jumpy and wide eyed at 7:30am - light episode. Pulse was at 90s and O2 level at mid 90s. She had sips of water via swab after.

8:35AM - In an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:50AM - Me and Joanna started Maureen's day, gave her a upper body wash with warmed purple wipes. No redness/rashes on skin. Diaper was medium wet, there was a very small light yellowish discharge. Cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then, transferred to the kitchen.

9:05AM - Breakfast - warm coffee with creamer, whole activia yogurt, and oatmeal/fruit smoothie. Maureen also finished a cup of lemon water. No coughs.

9:25AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with yogurt.

9:35AM - Oral care.

9:40AM - Eye care/eye drops routine. Facial and hand care routine followed.

9:50AM - Going out for a walk.

10:40AM - Came back from a nice walk. Maureen enjoyed - awake the entire time.

10:50AM - Maureen had 3/4 cup of water.

BP: 108/63, P: 68 bpm

11:30AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face her right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and moved to the kitchen.

12:50PM - Lunch - egg salad, beets on the side, chicken soup and rice pudding for dessert. Maureen had a cup of sparkling water. No coughs.

**Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

1:40PM - Oral care.

Maureen is pretty awake today and enjoyed the time.

2:30PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Position to face her left side.

3:40PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. Cleaned and changed Maureen. Finished dressing then moved to the front room.

3:50PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
