Thursday, April 20 Daytime update

  • 6:30 am- Maureen is sleeping.

  • 7:00 am- Maureen is still asleep.

  • 7:30 am- Maureen is still deeply asleep, not moving at all.

  • 7:50 am- Maureen opened her eyes briefly, but is drifting off to sleep again. She is calm and relaxed.

  • 8:15 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep. She looks sleepy.

  • 8:30 am- Maureen looks awake now. We raised the bed and administered the Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Diaper was dry. We washed Maureen's upper body. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:00 am- Breakfast- pancake with 1/4 of banana, maple syrup, 1/4 of a pear, 8 oz of mixed prune juice and water. Maureen coughed three times. She finished her prune juice during breakfast.

  • 9:30 am- Administered Loratadin and Lisinopril with apple sauce.

  • 9:35 am- Morning oral care.

  • 10:00 am- Maureen is sleeping in the chair.

  • 11:00 am- Maureen woke up and experienced a mild episode. Her eyes were wide open and staring, she was twitching, pulse picked at 131 briefly, then was ranging from 75 to 95. It lasted about 10 minutes.

  • 11:30 am- Half a smoothie. Maureen coughed twice.

  • 11:50 am- We transferred Maureen for a change and her first rest break. Diaper was medium wet and Maureen had an extra large soft bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen thoroughly. She will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 12:10 pm.

  • 1:30 pm- Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and proceeded with the lunch- lentils soup, ham salad, roasted Brussels sprouts, cup of water mixed with coconut water. Maureen coughed three times, sneezed twice.

  • 2:30 pm- Oral care.

  • 3:45 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon and pear.

  • 3:50 pm- Maureen is watching TV, her diaper is dry.

Sunday March 8th Daytime Summary

-9:30am Maureen was awake, Tom gave her a few swabs of water & she fell back asleep. Made Sunday omelet & made more pear puree. -10:00am Maureen is awake, we put her in a upright position & gave her 7
