Thursday, April 10, 2025 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is sleeping soundly,  lying on her left.

• 8:30am Maureen’s calmly waking up; receptive to sips of water afterward.

• 8:50am Maureen is awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:00am Joanna and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper using a damp towel and Cetaphil cleanser, applied Calazinc to left labia and outer anal healing redness, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:20am Administered 10mg loratadine with apple sauce.

• 9:22am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, poached egg, pear and 8oz prune juice. Coughed once.

• No Miralax administered.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 10:05am Oral care.

• 10:15am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• 11:00am Kelsie, RN arrives for Maureen’s weeckly visit:

  Lungs are clear

  Temp: 97

  Pulse: 72

  BP: 104/62

  Arm circ: 21cm

  Thigh circ: 31cm

• Maureen had 3oz lemon water.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a heavy diaper, positioned on her right side.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Sweetpeas soup (blended), chicken salad, avocado and 9oz sparkling water. Coughed twice, sneezed once.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 1:40pm Oral care.

• Maureen stayed well alert after lunch, drinking 9oz of lemon water in the meantime.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper using a damp towel, re-applied Calazinc to labia and outer anal area redness. Positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the living area.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack ( melon/apple/banana).

• Total liquids ingested: 38oz.
