Sunday, October 26 Daytime update

  • 8:00 am- Maureen is waking up.

  • 8:40 am- Maureen is fully awake.

    We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce.

  • 8:45 am- We started the day with changing a medium wet diaper. Tom and I cleaned Maureen, applied Sureprep barrier wipe on sacrum area and Medline Remedy Prevent silicone cream on inner tights. Next we washed Maureen’s upper body. No redness observed. Dressed and transferred her to the recliner.

  • 9:10 am- Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

  • 9:30 am- Maureen had 10 oz of electrolyte water. Breakfast followed- omelette, half of banana, 8 oz of apple juice. Maureen coughed four times, sneezed twice.

  • 10:15 am- Morning oral care.

  • 10:20 am- Facial and hand care routine.

  • 11:00 am- Maureen had 10 oz of sparkling water. Coughed twice.

  • 11:10 am 1 Deacon Andy came in for the Sunday service.

  • 11:25 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:35 am.

  • 12:35 pm- Maureen’s first rest break ended. Her diaper was medium wet with a medium formed bowel movement Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred her to the wheelchair. Headed to the patio for lunch outside.

  • 12:50 pm - Lunch- beef soup with veggies and rice, tuna salad with fresh tomato, 10 oz cup of coconut water. Maureen coughed four times, sneezed a few times.

  • 1:45 pm- We got back inside. Performed oral care and transferred Maureen to bed for her second rest break. Her diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie down on her right side for an hour starting at 2:00 pm.

  • 3:00 pm- Maureen’s second rest break is over now. Her diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred her to the recliner.

  • 3:30 po- Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta’s treatment.

  • 3:50 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon and apple. Two coughs.

  • 4.30 pm- Maureen finished 10 oz cup of ginger and lemon tea. She coughed a few times.

  • 5:00 pm- Dinner- Shrimp, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, 5 oz of water mixed with a little sparkling water.

  • 5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.

  • 6:10 pm- Evening oral care.

  • 6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Her diaper was medium wet and she had a small soft bowel movement. Tom and I cleaned and changed her . Applied Medline Remedy Prevent silicone cream. We cleaned/ wiped Maureen’s face and applied Cetaphil lotion on her face, hands, legs and feet. Positioned Maureen on her left side.

  • Maureen consumed 53 oz of liquids today. She was a little more phlegmy this morning, we used the suction machine to help her. She was better in the afternoon.

Monday, Nov. 27, 2025 - Daytime Update

9:00AM - Maureen's on her left side, still sleeping. 9:20AM - We turn Maureen on her right side. 9:35AM - Maureen woke up, looking ready to start her day. We gave her sips of water via swab. No signs
