Sunday, October 13 Daytime update

  • 8:00 am- Maureen woke up ar7:50 am. Tom is by her side giving her sips of water.

  • 8:25 am - We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 8:30 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was medium wet and she had vaginal discharge. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We washed and cleaned her upper body. Dressed and headed to the living room.

  • 8:45 am- Maureen is having breakfast while watching the Bears game. She enjoyed an 8 oz cup of prune juice with 1 cup of Miralax, omelette and Activia yogurt. Two coughs.

  • 9:25 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with yogurt.

  • Daily Miralax dosage- 1 cup.

  • 9:30 am- Morning oral care.

  • 9:45 am- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution and Albuterol.

  • 10:10 am- Morning facial routine.

  • 10:45 am- Maureen is closing her eyes at times.

  • 11:15 am- Deacon Andy arrived for the Sunday service.

  • 11:30 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Her diaper was dry. We positioned her on the right side at 11:40 am .

  • 12:40 pm- Maureen's first rest break is over. Diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 12:55 pm- Lunch- Oatmeal smoothie, cup of ginger tea. Maureen coughed once.

  • 1:15 pm- We took a very short walk and came back. After the sun hid it got windy and chilly.

  • 1:50 pm - Maureen is sipping on some ginger tea.

  • 1:55 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. She had a large soft bowel movement. We cleaned her thoroughly and changed. Positioned Maureen on her side left side at 2:10 pm.

  • 2:55 pm- Maureen's rest break ended. Diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the living room.

  • 3:05 pm- Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta's treatment.

  • 3:45 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon, kiwi and apple. Maureen coughed twice.

  • 4:50 pm- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution and Albuterol.

  • 5:05 pm- Dry is dry.

  • 5:10 pm- Dinner- Spaghetti with meat sauce, cup of ginger tea. Maureen coughed three times, sneered twice.

  • 6:00 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with apple sauce.

  • 6:15 pm- Evening oral care.

  • 6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream. Washed Maureen's face and hands. Applied Cetaphil lotion on her face and upper and lower extremities.
