Sunday Oct. 31, 2021 Daytime summary

8:45, our day started with washing with the warmed up wipes in the purple package. After the normal procedure of changing a heavy wet diaper, we got Maureen dressed for the day, transferred to her Geri chair and went out to the kitchen.

NO MIRALAX TODAY

9:30, Barb administered the thyroid pill with applesauce and cut up a banana to enjoy while I prepared some cheesy scrambled eggs and chicken sausage. A full cup of prune juice was drank with breakfast also. LISINOPRIL was given with applesauce to finish off her morning meds, a spoonful of honey followed.

10:45, oral care, cleanup with warm washcloth and light exercises were next on the agenda

11:15, Deacon Andy stopped by for a spiritual visit and Communion for us, after his departure, it was time to a change.

11:30, we transferred to the bed, changed a medium wet diaper and left Maureen on her left side for an hour off of her sacrum area.

12:45, I checked and she was medium wet, I cleaned and changed her with Tommy’s assistance and transferred to the day chair and then the recliner for the first time today.

1:30, I prepared 1/2 tuna salad sandwich on toasted whole wheat bread, a scoop of potato salad and a full cup of water for lunch, I believe she enjoyed it, the plate was clean at the end. Oral care and cleanup followed shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, we bled some more orange and blue, as DA BEARS were defeated.

3:45, it was time for a change so we transferred to the day chair and then the bed, changed a medium wet diaper and then laid her on her right side for the 2nd of two hour long rests, off of her backside.
