Sunday, March 9 , Daytime update

&:00 am- Maureen is awake, accepting some water via swab from Tom. He said that around 7 am Maureen woke up and was a little shaky and had a slightly clenched hands. Pulse didn’t get above 87, episode lasted about 15 minutes. She has been in and out of sleep since then.
8:30 am - Maureen closed her eyes again.
8:40 am - Maureen is awake. Will give her a few more minutes.
8:45 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
8:50 am- We started the day. Maureen’s diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed it. There was a little vaginal discharge only on the diaper. There was a spread redness on the left side of her perianal area. We applied Cavilon barrier film and Cavilon cream. Finished dressing and transferred Maureen to the kitchen.
9:05 am- Breakfast- omelette, 8 oz of apple cider, pear, 10 oz cup of water. Maureen coughed three times.
No Miralax dosage today.
9:50 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with apple sauce.
9:55 am- Morning oral care.
10:00 am- Facial routine.
10:30 am- Maureen is sipping on her water.
11:10 am- Maureen took a half an hour nap.
11:15 am- Deacon Andy arrived for Sunday service.
11:25 am- Maureen finished her water. We transferred her to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was dry. She will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 11:30 am.
12:30 pm- Maureen’s first break is over. Diaper was heavy wet. She had very little discharge on the diaper only. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. We applied Cavilon cream on the perianal area redness. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the kitchen.
12:45 pm- Carolyn brought delicious lunch for everyone, thank you, Carolyn! Maureen enjoyed a fish roll with tartar sauce and French fries with ketchup. She had a 10 oz cup of coconut water. We all had a great cake for dessert. Maureen coughed four times, sneezed twice. We reclined the chair during lunch because she was leaning forward.
1:40 pm- Oral care.
1:55 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was dry. We positioned her on the left side at 2:05 pm.
3:05 pm- Maureen’s second rest break ended. Her diaper was heavy wet. There was no vaginal discharge. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.
3:30 pm- Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta’s treatment.
4:00 pm- Maureen had half a cup of water, about 5 oz, followed by a fresh fruit snack- Watermelon, pear and kiwi. Maureen coughed once.
4:55 pm- Maureen’s diaper is dry.
5:00 pm - Dinner- chicken tenders in a cream sauce, cauliflower with spinach, steamed Brussels sprouts. Maureen coughed twice. She finished her cup of water.
5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with apple sauce.
6:00 pm- Evening oral care.
6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Diaper was heavy wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream to perianal area and inner thighs. Redness looks almost the same. Cleaned Maureen’s face and applied Cetaphil lotion to her face, hands, legs and feet. Positioned her on the left side.
