8:00 AM. Maureen is awake with Tom by her side. Maureen is lying on her left side. Tom educated us about the heart monitor; it’s purpose, how it works, what to avoid and how to make sure it stays in place. He also made us aware of the redness on Maureen’s skin under the adhesive tape. He also told us that Maureen is done with the antibiotic and Zyrtec.
