Sunday, March 24, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Tom was lying next to Maureen on bed when we came in. Maureen looking sleepy, lying on her left side. According to Tom, Maureen woke up at 5:45am.


8:25AM - We raised the bed up and administered 75mcg of Levothryroxine with apple sauce.


8:35AM - Maureen closed her eyes to sleep.


8:50AM - Maureen opened her eyes and looking more awake than earlier. We started to wash her upper bodyusing warmed purple wipes with Aloe Vesta. No redness on skin observed. Diaper was dry, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. We finished dressing her and transferred to the kitchen.


9:05AM - Maureen had 1/2 pear prior to breakfast. Then, 8oz prune juice with 1 full cap of MiraLAX, omelette, and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. Maureen also had 1/2 cup of lemon water. Coughed 2x.


**We reclined geri chair one notch in the middle of giving Maureen her breakfast due to she was leaning forward a little bit and for comfort.


MiraLAX daily dose - 1 cap


9:40AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with the rest of apple sauce left.


9:50AM - Oral care.


9:55AM - Facial and hand care routine.


10:30AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap while listening to her favorite music.


11:25AM - Deacon Andy arrived and brought palms for Tom and Maureen, and for the regular Sunday service.


11:35AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with extra large soft bowel movement. We cleaned thoroughly and changed Maureen then, position to face her right side.


12:45PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was dry, finished dressing Maureen then proceed to the kitchen.


12:55PM - BP: 108/63, 68 bpm


Maureen had a cup of lemon water before she started her lunch. Lunch was fruit/oatmeal smoothie with 3 prunes and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. She also finished a cup of sparkling water. Coughed once, sneezed 2x.


1:20PM - Oral care. **Reclined geri chair once notch after for comfort.


**Maureen was relaxed and awake the whole time before we transferred her to the bedroom for rest break.


2:00PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed then, position to face her left side.


2:55PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was dry, we dressed Maureen then transferred to the front room.


3:05PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi and melon). No coughs. Maureen enjoyed it and had sips of water after.


3:20PM - Sister Roberta arrived for Maureen's Sunday massages.


**Maureen looking relaxed. Had sips of water after the massage.


4:40PM - Carolyn arrived to visit.


5:10PM - Dinner is meatloaf, mashed potato, carrots and asparagus prepared by Carolyn. Maureen had a cup of lemon water. She enjoyed dinner very much. Coughed 2x.


5:50PM - Administered 5mg of Olanzapine with apple sauce and 12.5ml Vimpat.


6:10PM - Oral care routine.


6:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream on folds and Cetaphil lotion on face, arms and legs. Position to face her left side with pillow in between legs and 2 wedges on her back.


6:50PM - Maureen is sleeping.

T - 97.5

P - 67 bpm

O2 - 97%
