Sunday, June 1 Daytime update

• 8:00 am- Maureen is sleeping, she is comfortably laying on her left side.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is still sound asleep.

• 9:00 am- Maureen is sleeping.

• 9:30 am- We repositioned Maureen. During the process she opened her eyes. She was calm and showed no signs of discomfort. We raised the bed. Waited 10 minutes and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce.

• 9:40 am- Tom and I changed Maureen’s medium wet diaper. There were brownish spots on the diaper. Cleaned and applied Cavilon barrier film and Cavilon cream. Washed Maureen’s upper body , dressed and transferred her to the recliner.

• 9:55 am- Maureen had 5 oz of lemon water before breakfast.

• 10:00 am- Breakfast- omelette, half of a pear, 6 oz of prune juice, 5 oz of lemon water. Maureen coughed three times.

• 10:45 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with applesauce.

• 10:50 am- Morning oral care.

• 10:55 am- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.

• 11:10 am- Facial and hand care routine.

• 11:15 am- Deacon Andy came in for Sunday service.

• 11:25 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was dry. We inserted a suppository to help her have a bowel movement. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:35 am.

• 12:35 pm- Maureen’s first rest break is over now. Her diaper was heavy wet and she had a extra large loose bowel movement. We cleaned her thoroughly. Dressed and headed to the front room.

• 12:55 pm- Lunch- turkey and cheese sandwich, pickled beets, potatoe salad , 10 oz of sparkling water. Maureen coughed twice.

• 1:35 pm- Oral care.

• 1:55 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was dry. She will lay on her left side for an hour starting at 2:05 pm.

• 3:05 pm- Maureen’s second rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred her to the recliner.

• 3:30 pm- Maureen is already enjoying Sister Roberta’s treatment.

• 3:50 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon, apple and banana. Maureen coughed twice.

• 4:30 pm- Maureen finished 5 oz of sparkling water.

• 5:00 pm- Maureen’s diaper is dry.

• 5:05 pm- Dinner- Pork chops, mushed potatoes , mixed veggies and 10 oz of water. Maureen coughed twice.

• 5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.

• 6:10 pm- Maureen finished her water.

• 6:15 pm Evening oral care.

• 6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night . Diaper was medium wet Tom and I cleaned and changed her . Applied Cavilon cream . Applied Cetaphil lotion to her face, hands and legs. Positioned Maureen on her left side.
