Sunday, July 13 Daytime update

  • 8:00 am- Maureen is still sleeping. 8:15 am- Maureen is calmly waking up.

  • 8:25 am- Maureen is fully awake. We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce.

  • 8:30 am- We started the day with changing a clean and dry diaper. Cleaned Maureen and applied Cavilon barrier film and Cavilon cream. Dressed, transferred to the wheelchair and headed to the kitchen.

  • 8:50 am- Maureen had 8 oz of water before breakfast.

  • 8:55 am- Breakfast- omelette, pear, 10 oz of lemon water.

  • 9:35 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with applesauce.

  • 9:40 am- Morning oral care.

  • 10:00 am - We took Maureen out for a walk. Used sunscreen, she had her eyeglasses and hat on.

  • 10:45 am- We are back at the house . Maureen had just a couple oz of sparkling water. Just wasn’t receptive to it.

  • 10:50 am- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.

  • 11:15 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Her diaper was still dry. We positioned her on the right side at 11:25 am.

  • 12:25 pm- Maureen’s first rest break ended. Her diaper was heavy wet. There was a brownish/dark bloody spot on the diaper only. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred her to the recliner.

  • 12:40 pm- Deacon Andy arrived for Sunday service.

  • 1:00 pm- Lunch- shrimp salad, pickled red beets, potato salad. Maureen had 10 oz of sparkling water. She coughed and sneezed a few times.

  • 1:35 pm- Oral care.

  • 2:15 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Her diaper was still dry. We positioned Maureen on her left side at 2:25 pm.

  • 3:25 pm- Maureen’s second rest break is over now. Diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed it. Dressed and transferred Maureen to Gerry chair. Heading to the kitchen.

  • 3:40 pm- DeAnna came in to cut and color Maureen’s hair.

  • 4:00 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon, pear and kiwi . No coughs.

  • 4:45 pm- DeAnna is done styling Maureen’s hair.

  • 4:50 pm- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.

  • 5:00 pm- Maureen’s diaper is dry.

  • 5:05 pm- Dinner - Manicotti with spinach, cheese and tomatoes. Maureen enjoyed it. She had 8 oz of sparkling water. She coughed twice.

  • 5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.

  • 6:00 pm- Kathy came in to visit Maureen.

  • 6:10 pm- Evening oral care.

  • 6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Her diaper was dry. Cleaned Maureen’s face and applied Cetaphil lotion on her face, hands, legs and feet. Positioned Maureen on her left side.

    P- 53

  • Maureen was very alert today. She did not close her eyes during the day at all. Ate very well. She consumed 38 oz of liquids .

Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's on her left side - awake and calm. Tom informed that she woke up slightly jumpy for 10mins, all vital signs within normal limits. She tolerated sips of water via swab after. 8:40AM
