9:30 am- Maureen is awake, laying on her left side.
10: 00 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce.
10:05 am- We started the day with cleaning Maureen and changing a medium wet diaper.
No discharge this morning. Applied Sureprep barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner tights.
Washed Maureen’s upper body. Dressed and transferred her to the recliner.
10 25 am- Maureen had 10 oz of lemon water.
Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with applesauce.
Breakfast followed- omelette, half of banana, 8 oz of prune juice, 2 oz of coffee.
Maureen coughed twice.
11:05 am- Administered one crushed tablet of Ciprofloxacin with applesauce.
11:10 am- Morning oral care.
11:15 am- Facial and hand care routine.
11:20 am- Deacon Andy came in for Sunday service.
12:30 pm- Lunch-chicken and onion soup, 10 oz of coconut water. Maureen coughed and sneezed multiple times. Her nose was running during sneezing.
1:10 pm- Oral care.
1:15 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her rest break. Diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen facing the right side .
2:20 pm- Maureen’s rest break is over. Her diaper was dry. We dressed her and transferred to the recliner.
2:30 pm- Sister Roberta came in.
3:00 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon and apple.
Maureen had 10 oz of electrolyte water.
3:30 pm- Djon , Emily and the kids came to visit Maureen!
4:30 pm- Dinner- Cane’s chicken, fries and coleslaw . Two coughs, two sneezes.
Maureen had 10 oz of sparkling water.
5:30 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.
5:45 pm- Evening oral care.
6:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Diaper was heavy wet and she had a medium soft bowel movement. Tom and I cleaned and changed her . Applied Cavilon cream. Applied Cetaphil lotion to her face, hands and legs.
