Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was awake but still sleepy when we came in, lying on her left side and Tom was at bedside with her. Tom updated that Maureen woke up around 5:30am, fell back to sleep again and woke up around 6:15am and has been sleeping in and out after.

8:30AM - Maureen still sleeping.

9:00AM - Maureen opened her eyes. We raised the bed up and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine and apple sauce.

9:10AM - We washed Maureen's upper body using warmed purple wipes with Aloe Vesta. No redness on skin observed. Diaper was lightly wet, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then transferred to the kitchen.

9:20AM - Administered Senna S (crushed) with apple sauce.

9:25AM - Breakfast started with 8 oz prune juice, Maureen had omelette, sips of coffee and yogurt. She also finished 3/4 cup of lemon water. Coughed once.

**No MiraLAX today. Senna S given.

9:55AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with yogurt. Reclined geri chair one notch after for Maureen's comfort.

10:05AM - Oral care.

10:10AM - Facial and hand care routine.

10:30AM - Maureen sitting comfortably on her recliner, listening to her music playlist and eventually, closed her eyes for a nap.

10:45AM - BP: 115/70, P: 66 bpm

11:05AM - Maureen opened her eyes when Deacon Andy arrived for his regular Sunday service.

11:20AM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was dry, we positioned Maureen to face her right side starting at 11:30am.

12:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed. Transferred Maureen to the kitchen.

12:40PM - Lunch was fruit/oatmeal smoothie with 2 prunes, yogurt and finished a cup of coconut water. Coughed once.

***Maureen is coughing less today and not phlegmy at all.

1:15PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was dry, positioned to face her left side.

3:05PM - Rest break ended. Diaper was light wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Finished dressing then headed to the front room.

3:15PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon). No coughs.

3:25PM - Sister Roberta arrived for Maureen's Sunday regular massages.
