Sunday, February 8 Daytime update

• 9:30 am- Maureen is awake. Tom is giving her sips of water via swab.

• 10:00 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce.

• 10:05 am- We started the day with changing a medium wet diaper. Cleaned Maureen, applied Sureprep barrier film and Cavilon cream. Washed Maureen’s upper body. There was a small red spot on her chest, applied Calazinc. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.

• 10:30 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with applesauce.

• 10:35 am- Maureen had 10 oz of lemon water.

  Breakfast- omelette, 2 oz of coffee, 10 oz of electrolyte water. Maureen coughed three times.

• 11:00 am- Deacon Andy came in for Sunday service.

• 11:30 am- Morning oral care.

• 11:35 am- Facial and hand care routine.

• 12:50 pm- Maureen had watermelon as a fruit snack . No coughs.

  She had 10 oz of coconut water.

• 1:20 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her rest break. Diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed her, inserted a suppository and positioned Maureen on her side.

• 2:20 pm- Maureen’s rest break is over. She had an XL soft bowel movement. We cleaned her thoroughly, changed and dressed her. Transferred to the recliner.

• 3:00 pm - Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta’s treatment.

• 4:00 pm- Maureen had 5 oz of sparkling water.

• 4:30 pm- Dinner- Canes chicken, French fries, coleslaw, 10 oz of lemon water. Maureen coughed twice.

• 5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.

• 5:55 pm- Evening oral care.

• 6:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Diaper was heavy wet.

  Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream.

  Applied Cetaphil lotion on her face, hands and legs.

  Positioned Maureen on her left side.

• Maureen had a good day today. She consumed 47 oz of liquids . Ate very well.
