Sunday February 13, 2022 Dayshift Update

• 8:00am Maureen is awake and very talkative this morning.

• 8:15am Our day begins. Filed both of Maureen’s big toes and applied Tolcylen. Diaper is medium wet - cleaned, applied no sting barrier film, Cavilon barrier cream, and put on a new diaper. Transferred Maureen to the Geri chair using the Hoyer lift and we headed to the kitchen.

• 8:32am Spoonful of Manuka honey followed by half thyroid pill.

• 8:45am Breakfast - tomato and ham omelet, bacon, banana, 4 oz prune juice, and half a cup of water.

  • No coughs during breakfast.

• 9:14am 5mg Lisinopril with applesauce.

• 9:15am Saline mist in each nostril.

• 9:18am Oral care.

• 9:26am Facial routine.

• 9:35am We headed to the front room. Maureen is sitting comfortably in the recliner.

• 10:40am Maureen has been in and out of sleep for the past 30 minutes.

• 11:15am Deacon Andy is here to give Maureen Holy Communion.

• 11:30am We headed to the bedroom for rest break #1. Diaper is medium wet - we freshened up and put on a new diaper. Maureen is lying on her right side with two green wedge pillows behind her and a pillow in between her legs. She will rest in bed for one hour starting at 11:45am.

• 12:45pm Rest break #1 is over. Maureen’s diaper is light wet - we cleaned and changed then headed to the kitchen.

• 1:04pm Lunchtime - slice of pizza, mushroom soup, and root beer.

  • Maureen coughed three times.

• 1:40pm Oral care.

• 2:20pm We headed to the the bedroom for rest break #2. Maureen’s diaper is dry. She is lying on her left side with two green wedge pillows behind her and a pillow in between her legs. Maureen will rest in bed for one hour starting at 2:35pm.
