Sunday August 22, 2021 Dayshift Update

• 7:30am Maureen is awake, slightly stirring. Her diaper is wet; cleaned thoroughly and put on a fresh diaper. No redness observed on Maureen’s posterior.

• 8:30am Our day begins. Diaper is dry; cleaned with warm wipes from the purple packet and put on a new pull-up. No redness seen. Transferred Maureen to the Geri chair via the Hoyer lift.

• 8:50am Administered half a tablet of thyroid medication.

• 9:15am Breakfast time. Maureen ate a ham and cheese omelet with two sausages and a banana. She also had half a cup of prune juice and a full cup of water.

• 10:08am Administered blood pressure and baby aspirin medication.

• 10:25am Oral care followed by facial cleanse with Ceraphil products.

• 10:35am Maureen’s pull-up is slightly wet so we headed to the bathroom. After 10 minutes, Maureen did not urinate or move her bowels. We cleaned up, put on a new pull-up, and headed to the front room after.

• 11:00am Visit with Barb.

• 1:20pm Lunchtime. Maureen enjoyed a turkey sandwich with potato salad and mushroom soup. She also drank a full bottle of coconut water and half a cup of water.

• 2:30pm Maureen’s diaper is now medium wet. We opted to change Maureen in bed. No redness observed. We headed to the front room after.

• 3:00pm Fruit time.
