Sunday, April 5 Daytime update -Happy Easter

• 9:30 am- Maureen is awake, with Tom by her side giving her sips of water.

• 10:00 am- Wr raised her bed and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with puréed pear.

  Maureen had 6 oz of lemon water

• 10:10 am- We started the day with changing a medium wet diaper and cleaning Maureen.

  There was no VD this morning. Applied Sureprep barrier film and Cavilon cream.

  Dressed Maureen and transferred her to the recliner.

• 10:25 am- Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

• 10:40 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with puréed pear.

• 10:45 am- Breakfast- omelette, 10 oz of orange juice.

  Maureen coughed twice.

• 11:15 am- Deacon Andy arrived at the house for Easter Sunday service.

• 11:30 am- Administered 20 ml of Geri- Tussin with puréed pear.

• 11:35 am- Morning oral care.

  Facial and hand care routine followed.

• 12;30 pm- Maureen took a half an hour nap.

• 1:00 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon .

• 1:30 pm- Maureen had 10 oz of coconut water.

• 2:20 pm- Maureen finished 6 oz of sparkling water.

• 2:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her rest break.

  Diaper was medium wet.

  We cleaned and changed her, inserted a suppository to help her move her bowels and position her on the left side.

• 3:40 pm- Maureen’s rest break is over. She had a large formed bowel movement. The first part was hard and in marble pieces.

  Tom and I cleaned and changed her.Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.

• 4:00 pm- Second Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

• 4:20 pm- Easter dinner with family- Maureen enjoyed all of Carolyn’s delicious homemade food. Maureen had 10 oz of sparkling water.

• 5:30 pm- Administered 20 ml of Geri-Tussin, 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with puréed pear.

• 5:45 pm- Evening oral care.

• 6:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Diaper was medium wet.

  Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream.

  Applied Cetaphil lotion to her face, hands and legs. Positioned Maureen on her left side.
