Sunday, April 28th, 2024: Dayshift Summary

8:00 AM. Arrived, Maureen is awake. According to Tom, she’s been awake since 7:15 AM. There was a very minimal distress like twitching and some facial movements that went away after a few minutes. She seem to be very calm and comfortable now, taking sips of water from the oral swab.

8:25 AM. Put Maureen on an upright position. Administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce and sips water using the oral swab.

9:00 AM. Started Maureen's day by washing face and upper body with warm purple wipes. There was a light redness on her left upper underarm fold, administered some barrier cream on it, will closely monitor. Diaper was medium wet; cleaned, dried and changed. Applied Cavilon film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on the rest of perineal area. Finished dressing her up then head to the kitchen for breakfast.

9:20 AM. Administered 1/2 cap of Miralax mixed with 8oz of prune juice. She had an omelet, quarter cup of coffee and a cup of lemon water for breakfast. She also had some yogurt with 10mg Loratidine afterwards. **coughed 2x

10:00 AM. Oral, facial and hand care done. Reclined her chair one notch for comfort.

11:15 AM. Deacon Andy came for Sunday service.

11:30 AM. Transferred Maureen back to the bedroom for 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet. Cleaned, dried and changed. Positioned her facing right side

11:45 AM. BP was 110/70 and pulse was 68bpm.

12:00 PM. Carolyn came and brought lunch for everybody (Thank you so much Carolyn!!!)

12:30 PM. 1st rest break is done. Diaper was light wet. Cleaned, dried and changed. Proceed transferring to kitchen for lunch.

12:45 PM. Lunch was grilled vegetables panini. She also had 10 oz of sparkling water and mango cake after. Maureen enjoyed lunch. **coughed 2x

1:45 PM. Oral care done.

2:30 PM. Transferred Maureen back to bedroom for 2nd rest break. Diaper was dry. Positioned her facing left side.

3:30 PM. Rest break done. Diaper was medium wet. Cleaned, dried and changed. Proceed transferring her to the front room.

**watching a movie in Netflix. Maureen seem to he very attentive looking at the TV.

4:55 PM. Checked diaper and it was light wet.

5:00 PM. Dinner was breaded chicken with pasta and cauliflower and a cup of lemon water. **coughed 2x

5:45 PM. Administered 5mg of Olanzapine and 12.5ml of Vimpat with apple sauce.

6:00 PM. Oral and denture care done.

6:25 PM. Transferred Maureen back to bedroom. Diaper was dry. Waited for her to pee for 10 mins but she didn’t. Applied Cetaphil lotion on her arms and legs. Positioned her facing left side.
