September 30 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen is sleeping soundly. Maya checked the diaper. It is dry.

• Maureen slept nicely until 8:30AM.

• Our day officially began @ 8:40AM. Maureen is in fine form. She is energetic and engaged—chatty at times. The diaper was wet. Maya cleaned her using the 3M Cavilon No Rinse Cleanse Spray.

• Breakfast service began @ 9:15AM. Before the eating commenced, Maya administered the thyroid pill. Maureen's posture in the geri chair is very good. We used one green wedge pillows and Magic Mike to adjust her posture a bit.

• Pressure ulcer area update - Our assessment is the area looks the same—no worse or better. Maya applied 3m No-Sting Barrier Film to the entire area.

• 9:38AM - Maya administered the blood pressure pill and the baby aspirin.

• Maureen coughed approximately 3-4 times this morning. The daily average during breakfast has been 2-3. None of them were hard coughs of the phlegmy variety.

• 9:45AM - Maya began the morning oral care routine.

• 10:04AM - Despite the extra sleep this morning, Maureen has been very lethargic during the last 1/2 hour. She has also been uttering the low moan/groan during this period. Her complexion is a bit pale as well. Maya checked her temperature. It is 98.1.

• 10:12AM - Maya cleaned Maureen's eyelashes with Johnson's Baby Shampoo and warm water. She then placed drops in both of Maureen's eyes.

• 10:30AM - Maureen's energy has returned. She is once again more active and engaged.

• 11:06AM - Organic fruit smoothie time. It was prepared by the new Director of Organic Edibles at the U.S. Embassy in Sofia, Bulgaria - Maya Tonina.

• 12:10PM - Maureen's pull up was wet. Maya and I took her to the bedroom for a quick clean and change. Maya cleaned her thoroughly using the 3M No-Rinse Cleanse spray.

• 12:15PM - Shampoo and style by the illustrious duo of KAMA - Kathy and Maya. They are hard to book. Cost an arm and a leg but worth every penny.

• 1:00PM - Lunch | 1/2 a turkey sandwich with melted Swiss cheese on toasted whole wheat, 1/2 a sliced tomato and 1/2 a bowl of lentil soup. Maureen also enjoyed two 8OZ bottles of Harmless Harvest Coconut Water—The official water of the Rip Van Winkle Society.

• 2:15PM - Maya noted Maureen's pull up was wet. We headed to the bedroom for a clean and change. Maya used the 3M No-Rinse Cleansing Spray to clean Maureen throughly. Afterwards, we headed to the lift recliner in the front room to view today's edition of the TPIR.
