Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's awake, looking calm while lying on her left side. Tom informed she woke up early around 6am.

8:20AM - Maureen closed her eyes.

8:45AM - She slightly opened her eyes, no signs of any distress. We placed her in an upright position, she took approximately 1.5oz of water via swab.

Administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:00AM - Neb treatment with saline.

BP: 105/58, P: 68bpm, O2: 95%

9:15AM - Me and Marie washed Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes - no redness observed. Diaper was dry with small, clear v. discharge. We cleaned her with tepid water and cetaphil cleanser, and changed. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. Got her dressed and transferred to the kitchen.

9:30M - Maureen took 10oz water with electrolyte powder. Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

Breakfast - scrambled egg with tomato and onion, pear and 8oz apple juice. Coughed 3x (dry).

10:20AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine.

10:45AM - Out for a walk.

11:40AM - Arrived from a nice walk - cool and sunny outside.

11:45AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the 1st rest break, diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed. Position to face the right side.

12:45PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry, we got her dressed and moved to the front room.

12:55PM - Lunch - chicken salad, beets and 12 oz rootbeer. Coughed 2x, use suction machine once.

1:45PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen's comfortably sitting on the recliner while watching a game show.

2:30PM - We transferred her to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet with medium soft BM. We cleaned and changed her. Got dressed and moved to the front room.

3:45PM - Maureen took 7oz of lemon water. Fruit snack (melon, banana and apple).
