Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's already awake facing her left side when I came in. She has been awake since 6:30am according to Tom.

8:20AM - In an upright position, we administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:30AM - We started Maureen's day by giving her full body wash using warmed purple wipes with Aloe Vesta, slight redness on right breast fold observed - applied Nystatin. Diaper was dry, we cleaned and changed her. Finished dressing and transferred to the kitchen.

9:00AM - Started Maureen's breakfast with 6oz of prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie mixed with 1tbsp flaxseed, half a pear and yogurt. Coughed once.

9:25AM - Administered 10mg Loratadine with yogurt.

9:35AM - BP: 120/75, 67

9:40AM - Oral care.

9:45AM - Facial and hand care routine.

10:10AM - We went out for a walk.

11:00AM - Arrived from walk. Maureen enjoyed nice weather outside. She had 3/4 cup of lemon water after.

11:20AM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, cleaned and changed. Positioned Maureen on her right side starting at 11:30am.

12:30PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was dry. Finished dressing then transferred Maureen to the kitchen.

***Skipped hair wash today due to Maureen had her hair color and trim done with Deanna last Thursday, 09/28.***

12:40PM - Lunch was toasted bread with tuna salad, potato salad, 12 oz of sparkling water and yogurt. Maureen enjoyed her lunch. Coughed once, sneezed once.

1:10PM - Oral care. Reclined geri chair after for comfort.

2:00PM - Maureen's been awake and comfortably sitting.

2:30PM - Time for Maureen's 2nd rest break, transferred to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet, cleaned and changed. Positioned Maureen to face her left side starting at 2:40pm.

3:40PM - 2nd rest break done. Diaper was dry. Transferred Maureen to the front room.

3:50PM - Fruit snack (kiwi and melon) while watching game show.
