Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already awake, she's lying on her left side - looking comfortable.

8:25AM - In an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:35AM - Me and Marie started to wash Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes, no redness/rashes on skin. Diaper was medium wet, no discharges. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. We dressed her after and moved to the kitchen.

8:50AM - Breakfast - 8oz prune juice with Miralax, oatmeal/fruit smoothie, and Activia yogurt. Maureen had 1/4 cup of lemon water. No coughs.

**Carolyn and her friend Maria dropped by for a visit.

9:30AM - Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

Oral care.

9:40AM - Neb treatment - Saline and Albuterol.

10:00AM - Facial and hand care.

10:25AM - Went out for a walk.

11:20AM - Maureen enjoyed our walk, stayed awake the whole time. Weather is nice, its breezy and sun is out.

**Maureen had half a cup of lemon water.

11:35AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st resr break. Diaper was heavy wet with large soft bowel movement. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Position to face her right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed her and transferred to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch was egg salad, guacamole and veggie soup and an orange. Maureen finished a cup of sparkling water. Coughed once.

1:30PM - Oral care.

**Reclined geri chair one notch after for comfort.

2:00PM - Maureen's giving us quite a lot of smiles today, sitting comfortably on the chair.

2:30PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed her then, position to face her left side.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We proceed to dress Maureen and transferred to the front room.

3:40PM - Fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon). Maureen had sips of water.
