Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was sleeping - lying on her left side.

8:25AM - Maureen woke up, still looking sleepy. Waited 10 mins before we administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce (while on upright position).

8:35AM - Me and Marie washed her upper body with warmed purple wipes, no redness or rashes skin. Diaper was medium wet, no discharges. We cleaned and changed her, no signs of pain or discomfort while cleaning her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum, applied Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing and moved to the kitchen.

8:45AM - Breakfast - 8oz prune juice with 1 cap Miralax, oatmeal/fruit smoothie, yogurt and finished a cup of lemon water. Coughed 3x.

MiraLAX dose today - 1 cap

9:15AM - Administered 1 tab Colace and 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

9:30AM - Oral care.

9:35AM - Facial and hand care routine.

10:00AM - Went out for a walk.

11:05AM - We arrived from a good walk. Maureen stayed awake and enjoyed it - nice day.

** She had 1/2 cup of lemon water.

11:15AM - Neb treatment - Saline soln and Albuterol.

11:35AM - We moved Maureen to thr bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with large soft bowel movement. We cleaned and changed her thoroughly, and position to turn her on the right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry, we proceed to dress Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.

12:45PM - BP: 100/60, P: 68bpm

**Reclined geri chair one notch prior to lunch for comfort.

Lunch was tuna salad, fresh tomato and broccoli soup. Maureen had coconut water. Coughed 2x.

1:30PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen was sitting comfortably on her chair - hands relaxed while listening to the music. Had a cup of lemon water.

2:30PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break, diaper was heavy wet. We cleaned and changed her, and position to face the left side.

3:35PM - 2nd resr break ended. Diaper was clean and dry, no discharges. We dressed and moved Maureen to the front room.

3:45PM - Sips of water. Fruit snack followed (kiwi, pear and melon).
