Saturday, November 18 Daytime update

8:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep. Tom said that she opened her eyes around 6:15, then went back to sleep and since 6:30 she has been in and out of sleep. Tom gave her sips of water when she was awake.
8:30 am- Maureen is still in and out of sleep.
8:45 am- Maureen asleep.
9:00 am- Maureen is sleeping.
9:10 am- Maureen is waking up.
9:15 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine.
9:20 -We started the day . Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Marie and I
9:45 am- Breakfast- oatmeal smoothie with two prunes, 6oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax, couple of spoons of yogurt, cup of water. No coughs during breakfast. Maureen sneezed three times and coughed four times while drinking water.
Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup.
10:10 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin.
10:15 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.
10:20 am- Facial routine.
10:30 am- BP- 110/65.
11:00 am- Maureen is resting in the chair, having some water at times.
11:10 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was dry. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:20 am.
12:20 pm- Maureen's first rest break is over. Diaper was medium wet. Marie and I cleaned and charged her. We dressed and proceeded with the hair wash. Headed to the kitchen after.
12:40 pm- Drying and styling Maureen's hair.
12:45 pm- Lunch- Chicken and rice soup, ham salad, fresh tomatoe, couple of spoons of yogurt, 12 oz of sparkling water. Maureen coughed twice and was able to cough up some phlegm.
1:25 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair.
2;00 pm- Maureen is resting , giving us smiles at times, but refuses water.
2:15 pm- Tom and I transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was medium wet and she had a small soft bowel movement. We cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 2:30 pm.
3:30 pm- Maureen's second break ends . Her diaper was dry.. Tom and I dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.
Fresh fruit, snack-watermelon, pear and kiwi. Two coughs.
