Saturday November 13, 2021 Dayshift Update

• 7:00am Maureen is sound asleep. She is turned to her left side.

• 7:49am Maureen is lightly stirring. Her diaper is wet.

• 8:16am Our day begins. Maureen started with a bed bath with help from Marie. Her diaper is wet - cleaned up with 3M cleanser spray, applied 3M barrier film followed by Cavilon barrier cream, and put on a new diaper for the day. Cleaned under Maureen’s left and right breast and her inner right forearm using aloe Vesta cleansing foam, dried with a soft washcloth, and applied a thin layer of Nystatin cream. Transferred to Geri chair using the Hoyer lift and headed to the kitchen after.

• 9:06am Administered thyroid medication prior to breakfast.

• 9:08am For breakfast, Maureen will eat a serving of oatmeal with a banana, a cup of water, and half a cup of prune juice.

  • Maureen did not cough once during breakfast. She is talking and smiling.

• 9:26am Lisinopril administered with applesauce followed by a spoonful of honey. No Miralax today.

• 9:35am Oral care. The area above Maureen’s implant looks good, not red in color.

• 9:40am Visit with Dan and Tina.

• 10:40am Fruit smoothie time. 100% organic.

• 11:40am We headed to the bedroom for a change. Maureen’s diaper is wet - we cleaned up using 3M cleanser spray and put on a new diaper. We turned Maureen to her right side. She will rest in bed for one hour starting at 11:48am.

• 12:48pm We began to rouse Maureen from her rest. Her diaper is wet - we cleaned up using 3M cleanser spray and put on a new diaper. Transferred Maureen to Geri chair and headed to the kitchen.

• 1:14pm Lunchtime. Maureen will eat half of a ham sandwich, a serving of green beans, a bowl of chicken noodle soup, and a bottle of coconut water.

• 1:30pm Carolyn came for a visit.

• 1:50pm Oral care. We went to the front room after To Maureen’s recliner using the Hoyer lift.

• 2:10pm Sister Roberta is here for Maureen’s treatment.

• 3:35pm Fruit snack time.

• 4:00pm We headed to the bedroom for a change. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Her diaper is wet - cleaned using 3M cleanser spray and put on a new diaper. We returned to the recliner in the front room after.
