Marie arrived at 7:30, Maureen was still asleep, we sat in the front room catching up on the past week.

8:20am, Maureen started stirring and talking quietly to herself so we decided it was time to get moving. Marie warmed up some water for a bed bath and changing of her medium wet diaper. After bathing, cleaning and changing, the sling was put in place, transfer to the Geri chair was performed so breakfast can get under way.

9:15am, we are now sitting at the table, Marie administered the thyroid medication with applesauce, then oatmeal and bananas followed, along with a full cup of prune juice and another full cup of water. More applesauce accompanied the LISINOPRIL and the usual treat, a spoonful of honey was certainly enjoyed.

NO MIRALAX TODAY

10:15am, oral care, cleanup with a warm washcloth, along with some light exercise commenced as usual, to keep her joints as limber as possible.

11:45am, checked her diaper, it was dry, we laid her on her left side, secured her with two wedge pillows and took a rest off of her backside.

1:00pm, we had to change Maureen’s heavy wet diaper, also she had a large and soft BM. I assisted Marie with cleaning her up very well, using the CAVILON products, got her dressed and into the geri chair for lunch.

1:30pm, lunchtime, Marie prepared 1/2 a tuna salad sandwich, some homemade lentil soup, care of chef Maya, some potato salad and a full cup of water was drank as well.

2:30pm, we moved to the recliner in preparation of Sister Roberta’s arrival. Maureen was very relaxed during her treatment and seemed to enjoy her time.

4:15pm, time for a fresh fruit snack that was cut up by Marie. After sister Roberta left, we took Maureen to the bedroom for a change We performed a standard clean and change of a medium wet diaper, got dressed again and went out to recliner for a big ND WIN!!!
