Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was awake however, still looking sleepy - comfortably lying on her left side. No signs of distress and pain.


8:30AM - We placed Maureen in an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.


BP: 108/63, P: 65 bpm


8:45AM - Me and Marie washed her upper body with warm purple wipes. Diaper was clean and dry - no vaginal discharges. We proceed to dress her and transferred to the kitchen.


9:00AM - Breakfast - 6oz prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax, oatmeal-fruit smoothie and yogurt. Maureen had a cup of lemon water as well. Multiple coughs, used suction machine 3x to aid taking out the phlegm. Sneezed 3x


9:35AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with yogurt.


**Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.


9:45AM - Neb treatment - saline soln.


10:00AM - Oral care.


10:15AM - Facial and hand care routine.


10:45AM - Maureen had a 15min nap on her chair.


11:30AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break, diaper was heavy wet with very small formed BM. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner thighs. Position to face the right side.


12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.


12:42PM - Reclined geri chair one notch prior to lunch. Lunch was chicken-veggie soup, tuna salad with fresh tomato and beets on the side. Maureen had a chocolate chip cookie and orange for dessert. Maureen finished a cup of sparkling water and 3/4 cup of lemon water. Coughed once.


1:30PM - Oral care.


2:00PM - Maureen currently listening to the Christmas song list - looking relaxed and awake. She had 1/4 cup of lemon water.


2:30PM - We transferred her to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with large formed BM. We cleaned her thoroughly, dried and changed. Position to face the left side.


3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry, no vaginal discharges. Finished dressing and transferred Maureen to the front room.


3:45PM - Fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon).
