Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already awake, on her left side - Tom was giving her sips of water via swab. She woke up around 7:15am. No signs of distress or pain noticed.

8:30AM - In an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:45AM - Me and Marie washed her upper body with warm purple wipes. No other redness/rashes on body. Red mark on left arm almost non visible. Diaper was dry - very small, light brown spot present on diaper. We cleaned/dried and changed Maureen. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner thighs. Dressed and proceed to the kitchen.

9:00AM - Breakfast - 6oz prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax, oatmeal/fruit smoothie, yogurt and 3/4 cup of lemon water. Coughed 3x.

**Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

MiraLAX dose today - 1/2 cap

9:35AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with yogurt.

9:50AM - Oral care.

10:00AM - Facial and hand care routine.

Applied a pea-size of Triamcinolone Acetonide cream on the dorsal (back) left hand.

10:30AM - Maureen's comfortably sitting, hands relaxed - awake while listening to the music.

BP: 110/60, P: 84 bpm

10:45AM - Maureen eating orange.

**Sips of lemon water.

11:25AM - We moved her to the bedroom for the 1st rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with small formed bowel movement. We cleaned and changed. Position to face the right side.

12:30PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet with small soft bowel movement. We cleaned/dried and changed her, dressed and transferred to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch - chicken salad, steamed carrots and sweet pepper, fresh tomato and blended chicken-veggie soup. Coughed 3x.

Maureen was able to cough out some phlegm.

**Reclined geri chair prior to lunch for ease and comfort.

1:35PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen stayed awake, doesn't look sleepy at all. We gave her Neb treatment using Saline sol'n.

2:30PM - We moved her to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with small formed BM. We cleaned and changed Maureen, and position to face her left side after.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. Proceed to dress her and transferred to the front room.

3:45PM - Maureen had 3/4 cup of lemon water prior to eating her fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon).
