Saturday May 27, 2023 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen’s is sleeping on her left side with Tom and Marrie by her bedside. Tom tells me she woke up earlier around 6:45, then went back to sleep.

• 8:30am A few minutes ago Maureen opened her eyes briefly, had a zip of water via swab the fell asleep again.

• 8:55am Maureen is now awake, we raised the bed head to administer Levothyroxine pill with apple sauce.

• 9:00am Marrie and I give Maureen a full body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta, changed and cleaned a md wet diaper and applied Cavilon barrier and cream. “Glad to report that Maureen skin is clear.” Dressed and transferred her to the recliner.

• 9:30am Maureen is enjoying an oatmeal/fruit smoothie, and 8oz prune juice w/1/4 cap of Miralax for breakfast. She coughed and sneezed once.

• 9:50am Administered Lisinopril and loratadine.

• 9:55 Oral care and facial routine performed.

Daily dosage of Miralax: 1/4 cap w/8oz prune juice.

• 10:30am Maureen is snoozing.

• 11:20am We transferred Maureen to bed for her first break. Diaper was md wet, ch and cleaned. Pos on her Rt side, break starts at 11:30.

• 12:30 First break ends. Diaper was dry, Marrie and I con to wash Maureen’s hair, dressed and headed to the kitchen- where we blow dry and styled her hair.

• 1:00pm We take Maureen to the backyard for the first cookout of the year! Tom cooked some juicy cheeseburgers which Maureen ate, enthusiastically with some cut of onion tomato, potato salad, and yogurt for dessert. Coughed once and her nose was runny. Finished her first cup of water plus half of another.

• 2:20pm Headed back inside for Maureen’s second break. Changed and cleaned a md wet diaper and positioned on her Lt side starting at 2:40.

• 3:30pm Second break ends, we changed and cleaned a md wet diaper and a md formed bowel movement. DressedDres Dressed and transferred to the recliner.

• 3:50pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (watermelon and kiwi).
