Saturday, March 30, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already awake when I came in, she's comfortably lying on her left side.

8:20AM - In an upright position, we administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:35AM - Me and Marie gave Maureen a full body bed bath using warmed purple wipes with Aloe Vesta. No redness/rashes on skin observed. Diaper was dry, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds.

We also washed Maureen's hair - shampooed and dried. Proceed to transfer to the kitchen to style her hair and for breakfast.

9:10AM - Breakfast started with 8oz prune juice with 1/4 cap Miralax, fruit/oatmeal smoothie, and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. Maureen also had a cup of lemon water. No coughs. **Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.

MiraLAX daily dose - 1/4 cap

9:40AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

**Maureen sneezed multiple times after breakfast and was able to cough up the phlegm out.

9:50AM - Oral care.

10:00AM - Facial and hand care routine.

11:00AM - BP: 105/63, P: 79 bpm.

Maureen was sitting comfortably, closed her eyes for a nap.

***Carolyn arrived as well for a visit.

11:30AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was dry, we cleaned and changed. Position to face her right side.

12:40PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Finished dressing then transferred to the kitchen.

12:50PM - Lunch was grilled ham and cheese sandwich, avocado, and sweet pea soup. Maureen also had 2 spoonfuls of yogurt and a cup of sparkling water. Coughed once.

1:30PM - Oral care. **Reclined geri chair after for comfort.

1:50PM - Maureen sitting comfortably, hands relaxed while listening to music.

**Maureen had a cup of lemon water.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face her left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was dry, we dressed Maureen then transferred to the front room.

3:45PM - Maureen took sips of water before fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon).
