Saturday, June 28 Daytime update

8:00 am- Maureen is sleeping, comfortably laying on her left side.
8:30 am- Maureen is still asleep.
8:40 am- Maureen is calmly waking up.
8:45 am- Maureen is awake. We raised the bed head and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce.
8:50 am- Marie and I started the day with changing Maureen’s dry diaper . Cleaned and applied Cavilon barrier film and Cavilon cream. The redness on her sacrum area looks healed. We next washed Maureen’s upper body. Dressed and transferred her to the wheelchair. Headed to the kitchen.
9:05 am- Maureen had 10 oz of water mixed with a little apple juice.
9:10 am- Breakfast- scrambled eggs with cheese and tomato, pear. Maureen coughed once.
9:55 am- Morning oral care.
10:05 am- We took Maureen outside for a nice walk.
11:00 am- We are back home.
11:10 am- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.
11:20 am- Morning facial routine.
11:30 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Her diaper was dry. Positioned her on the right side at 11:40 am.
12:40 pm- Maureen’s first rest break ended. Diaper was heavy wet. Marie and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.
12:55 pm- Lunch- tuna salad, pickled beets, rice pudding for dessert. 10 oz of coconut water. Maureen coughed once.
1:45 pm- Oral care.
2:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break . Her diaper was dry. Maureen will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 2:40 pm.
3:40 - Maureen’s second rest break is over. Her diaper was medium wet. Marie and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the front room.
3:55 pm- Maureen had 10 oz of water mixed with a little apple juice.
4:00 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon, pear and kiwi. Maureen coughed twice.
4:30 pm- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.
5:00 pm- Maureen’s diaper is dry.
5:05 pm- Dinner- pot roast with vegetables, 10 oz of water mixed with a little sparkling water. Maureen coughed three times.
5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.
6:10 pm- Evening oral care.
6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Her diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream. Applied Cetaphil lotion to Maureen’s face, hands, legs and feet. Positioned her on the left side.
