Saturday, July 27, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen already awake, comfortably lying on her left side.

8:30AM - In an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:45AM - Me and Marie starter Maureen's full body wash using warm water and Cetaphil cleanser. No redness/rashes on skin observed. Diaper was dry with very slight clear vaginal discharge. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing and proceed to wash Maureen's hair. Went to the kitchen after to dry and style her hair.

9:15AM - Administered 2, 50mg tabs of Senna S (crushed) with apple sauce prior to breakfast.

Breakfast - cut up pear, warm coffee, 6 oz prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. Maureen also finished a cup of lemon water. Coughed once.

No MiraLAX today.

10:00AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

10:10AM - Oral care.

10:20AM - Facial and hand care.

10:30AM - Going outside for a walk.

11:15AM - Came home from a good walk. Maureen stayed awake, went to see the nice flowers from one of the neighbors yard - she enjoyed it.

**Maureen had half a cup of lemon water.

11:30AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st resr break. Diaper was still dry and clean. Waited 5mins to see if Maureen would go but did not, position to face her right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was heavy wet with XXLarge soft bowel movement. We cleaned thoroughly, dried and changed Maureen. Finished dressing and transferred to the kitchen.

12:55PM - Lunch was chicken salad, beets, fresh tomato and rice pudding for dessert. Maureen finished a cup of sparkling water. Coughed once.

12:35PM - Oral care. **Reclined geri chair one notch after for Maureen's comfort.

2:05PM - Nebulizer treatment - Saline soln and Albuterol.

2:20PM - BP - 108/63, P: 70bpm

2:30PM - Maureen had half a cup of lemon water and we moved her to the bedroom after, for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was clean and dry. We position Maureen to face her left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned/dried and changed Maureen. Transferred to the front room.

3:50PM - Fruit snack time (apple, banana and melon).
