Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's awake, she had 3 sips of water via swab. Head of bed elevated, O2 at 92% room air.

8:30AM - Maureen started coughing, O2 down between 85-88, we started O2 at 2L/min via nasal cannula - O2 Sat now at 94%.

She closed her eyes 15mins after.

9:15AM - Maureen opened her eyes, looking more awake than earlier. We placed her in an upright position 10mins after and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:30AM - Neb treatment with Albuterol.

**Maureen still coughs multiple times in between activities.

9:50AM - Me and Marie washed Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes. Diaper was dry with medium, brownish v. discharge. We cleaned and changed her, applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. We dressed her and gave a quick hair wash which Maureen tolerated very well.

10:20AM - We transferred to the front room. Maureen took 8oz of lemon water and administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce. Coughed 3x, used suction machine.

Breakfast - scrambled egg with onion and tomato, pear and 8 oz prune juice. Coughed only once with the liquid.

**O2 Sat at 93-94% room air.

11:10AM - Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce and 5ml expectorant.

11:15AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine after.

11:40AM - Maureen looked relax and calm while sitting on the chair with eyes closed.

**She mainted her O2 sat at 93-94% room air while sitting.

12:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with medium, formed BM. We cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side. O2 sat at 94% room air.

1:15PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We got Maureen dressed and transferred to the front room.

Carolyn arrived.

1:22PM - Lunch - tuna salad, beets, and 4oz of flavored water. Coughed 3x.

2:15PM - Neb treatment with albuterol.

**Maureen closed her eyes while treatment is on going.

2:40PM - Oral care.

3:00PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we position to face her right side.

3:45PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet with small, formed BM. We cleaned and changed her, got dressed and moved to the front room.

3:55PM - Fruit snack time (banana, apple and melon).

**Total liquid intake - 20oz
