Saturday April 2, 2022 Dayshift Update

• 8:00am Maureen is sound asleep.

• 8:30am Maureen continues to sleep.

• 8:47am Our morning begins with a complete bed bath. We saw no redness anywhere on Maureen’s skin. Tolcylen applied to both big toes. Diaper is heavy wet and Maureen had a medium sized, formed bowel movement. We cleaned up, applied no sting barrier film followed by Cavilon barrier cream and put on a new diaper.

• 9:03am Marie is helping Maureen through a set of stretches and exercises in bed.

• 9:25am We transferred Maureen to the Geri chair and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:28am Spoonful of Manuka honey and thyroid pill with applesauce.

• 9:30am Breakfast - banana, oatmeal, prune juice, cup of water.

• 10:02am Lisinopril and Claritin with applesauce.

• 10:06am Oral care.

• 10:10am Morning facial routine including arms and hands.

• 10:30am We headed to the front room. Maureen is sitting comfortably in the recliner.

• Our morning today went well. Maureen slept in - as a result, she was full of energy this morning. She was talkative and smiling at us all morning. There were no periods of drowsiness. She coughed twice during breakfast.

• 11:00am Organic fruit smoothie.

• 11:50am We headed to the bedroom for rest period #1. Maureen’s diaper is medium wet - we cleaned up and put on a new diaper. Maureen will lie on her right side for one hour starting at 12:00pm.

• 1:00pm Rest period #1 is through. Diaper is heavy wet and Maureen had another medium sized, formed bowel movement. We cleaned up, applied Cavilon barrier cream, and put on a new diaper.

• 1:12pm I washed Maureen’s hair. Marie soon after dried and styled.

• 1:33pm Lunch - mushroom soup, salad, half turkey sandwich, bottle of organic coconut water. Maureen enjoyed a chocolate cupcake for dessert after.

• 1:57pm Oral care.

• 2:30pm We headed to the bedroom for rest period #2. Diaper is medium wet - we cleaned up and put on a new diaper. Maureen will lie on her left side for one hour starting at 2:38pm.

• 3:40pm Rest period #2 is over. Diaper is medium wet - cleaned, applied Cavilon barrier cream, and put on a new diaper. We headed to the front room after.

• 3:55pm Fruit snack.
