Saturday, Apr. 5, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen is soundly sleeping while on her left side. Tom informed that she woke up around 7:30am.

8:35AM - Maureen slightly opened her eyes for 2mins and eventually went back to sleep.

9:00AM - Maureen opened her eyes and more awake now, looking ready to start her day. We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:15AM - Me and Marie washed her upper body with warm purple wipes, no redness or rashes. Diaper was dry, we cleaned/dried and changed. Applied Calazinc on the labia area and going down to her anus, skin is a little more red than yesterday. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cavilon cream on the appropriate areas. We finished dressing Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.

9:30AM - Breakfast - pancake, scrambled egg with onion and tomato, pear, and 8 oz prune juice. Maureen had 5 oz of lemon water before eating breakfast. Coughed 2x, used suction machine once.

**We reclined geri chair one notch before breakfast for comfort.

10:10AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

10:20AM - Oral care.

**Took a little extra time feeding her due to couging. Maureen has been trying to get rid of the phlegm eversince she woke up.

10:25AM - Neb treatment with saline soln.

10:40AM - Facial and hand care routine followed.

11:15AM - Maureen's awake and relaxed on chair while listening to the music. Coughed out phlegm by herself once.

11:30AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We got Maureen dressed and transferred to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch - shrimp salad, fresh tomato and chicken-veggie soup. Maureen had 10oz of sparkling water. She ate well. Coughed 3x.

**Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

1:20PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen took 6oz of lemon water. Her energy went down and looking a little tired.

2:30PM - We moved her to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper is still clean and dry. We placed her to face the left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Redness on labia is still visible - no change, applied Calazinc. We dressed her and moved to the front room.

3:50PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon). She took 2 oz of lemon water before the fruit.
