Sat. August 21, 2021 Daytime summary

The ladies arrived at 7:30, Maureen has been enjoying a massage and talking to herself, quietly, for the last 1/2 hour or so.

7:50am, Maureen’s diaper was heavy wet, removed it, and a bed bath was given. When dried, a fresh pair of shorts, t-shirt and socks were put on, along with her gym shoes. Her temperature was 98.3 around 8am

8:15am, after transferring to the Geri chair, it’s breakfast time. The thyroid pill was given with applesauce before breakfast, which consisted of banana, oatmeal , 1/2 a cup of prune juice and a full cup of water.. The other morning meds were then administered, along with a spoonful of honey.

8:45am, oral care and cleanup followed, then brought to the recliner, she was relaxing, watching tv.

9:30am, blood pressure was 123/80

11:00am, transferred to day chair using the Hoyer lift, went to bedroom, , used Hoyer lift to transfer to the bed. Changed a heavy wet diaper and also a large formed BM, cleaned very well and put fresh diaper on, transferred to day chair, back to front room and transferred to the recliner for exercises.

12:30pm, transferred to day chair and then to Geri chair for lunch, 1/2 turkey and Swiss cheese sandwich on toasted whole wheat bread with potato salad, a full cup of water and mushroom soup. Oral care followed at 1:30

1:45pm, Maureen was brought to the bedroom to change her diaper. She had another large BM and was heavy wet, cleaned well and a fresh diaper was put on, dressed again and transferred to day chair and brought to the front room, Susan had stopped by for a visit. Maureen remained in the day chair while she was chatting with Susan. 2:30pm, after Susan left and Maureen was transferred to the recliner, Judy stopped over for a little bit.

3:00pm, Sister Roberta arrived, performed her massage and positive energy exercises, we set up her next visit, next Wednesday, 2:30ish …

3:30pm, fruit snack time,

4:40pm, Tom manually transferred to day chair and then to the commode, light wet diaper, after about 12 minutes of seemingly no activity, we stoo up to find a small BM, cleaned well and redressed, and back to the recliner.
