  • Breakfast service began @ 9:15AM. Posture in the geri chair is very good. We used the two green wedge pillows and the red couch pillow to set Maureen up perfectly. Click/tap here for detailed overview of the entire breakfast service process Maya and I use each day.

  • General observations @ 10:15AM> Maureen had a good morning. She was very responsive to Maya as they made their way through the morning. Her eyes were wide open. She had good energy—did not doze off at all. Chewing and swallowing also went well. All in all, we got off to a great start.

  • 10:27AM - we tilted the chair back one level

  • 10:35AM - organic fruit smoothie

  • General observations @ 1:25PM> Lunch proved to go as well as breakfast. Maureen was very talkative whether we were engaging her or not. She chewed and swallowed well—only three coughs. I suspect the rest of the day will be more of the the same. It is great to see.
