Sunday, June 21 Daytime update -Happy Father’s Day

• 9:30 am - Maureen is asleep. She is comfortably laying on her left side. She was awake around 7:30 but went to sleep soon after.

• 9:45 am- Maureen is awake. No signs of discomfort.

• 10:00 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce.

  Maureen had 6 oz of cold thickened water.

• 10:15 am- Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

• 10:25 am- We started the day with changing a medium wet diaper. Theowas a bloody VD spot on it. We cleaned Maureen. Applied Sureprep barrier film and Prevent silicone cream to the appropriate areas. Washed Maureen’s upper body. While cleaning we noticed a tiny white discharge on and around her left breast nipple.

  The red spot on her left foot is fading. The one on the rside of her right foot is the same. It seems like there is a little bit of puffiness/ swelling towards her toes. We dressed Maureen and transferred to the recliner.

• 10:45 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with applesauce.

• 10:50 am- Breakfast- omelette, 10 oz of thickened orange juice. Maureen coughed twice.

• 11:15 am- Deacon Andy arrived .

• 12:00 pm- Administered 20 ml of Geri Tussin with applesauce.

• 12:05 pm- Morning oral care.

  Facial and hand care routine followed.

• 12:30 pm- Maureen finished 10 oz of thickened sparkling water. Two coughs.

• 1:15 pm- Fruit yogurt as a snack. Maureen coughed once.

• 1:40 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her rest break. Diaper was dry. We positioned her on her right side.

• 2:40 pm- Maureen’s rest break ended. Her diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred to the recliner.

• 3:00 pm- Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta’s treatment.

• 3:30 pm- Carolyn and Colleen came to the house.

• 4:00 pm- Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

• 4:30 pm- Maureen had 10 oz of thickened coconut water .

• 4:45 pm- Dinner- Barbecue ribs, fries, spinach, asparagus, 10 oz of thickened sparkling water. Maureen coughed a lot, sneezed a few times.

• 5:25 pm- Administered 12,5 ml of Vimpat, 20 ml of Geri Tussin and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.

• 5:45 pm- Evening oral care.

• 6:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Diaper was heavy wet. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Preventative silicone cream. Cleaned her face and applied Cetaphil lotion. The redness on her left foot seems almost healed. The one on the right foot is still a little red .
