October 5 daytime update

• Maureen began her day @ 8:10AM.. The diaper is dry. Wednesday is bed bath day. Click/tap here for a detailed overview of the process Maya and I use each week.

• Breakfast service began @ 8:30AM. Posture in the geri chair is near perfect. We used the two green wedge pillows and the red couch pillow to set Maureen up perfectly. Click/tap here for detailed overview of the entire breakfast service process Maya and I use each day.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: 1/2 cap

• 9:25AM - Morning oral care routine

• 9:34AM - We tilted the geri chair back one level for Maureen's comfort and to relieve stress off of her sacrum.

• 9:36AM - Morning facial routine

• General observations @ 9:47AM> This morning was pretty much a carbon copy of Monday and Tuesday—low energy causing lack of engagement and communication. Maureen did not pronounce any intelligible works today. Chewing and swallowing were not an issue during breakfast. She did have a few hard coughs after breakfast.

• 10:36AM - Organic fruit smoothie

• 11:02AM - We headed to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #1. Diaper was medium wet. Maureen has a two-part bowel movement: Part 1> Small formed and Part 2> Large and loose. Maya thoroughly cleaned Maureen. We also replaced the pad on the bed. Upon completion of the clean & change process, Maya and I placed Maureen on her right side.

• 11:27AM - Rest Break #1 begins

• 12:27PM - RB#1 ends. Diaper is medium wet. Maya and U performed a clean & change. We the shampooed Maureen's hair.

• 12:55PM - Hair styling in kitchen.

• 1:05PM - Lunch | A serving of tuna salad, 1/2 bowl of homemade lentil soup and a serving of finely diced tomatoes. Maureen will drink one 12-ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water.t

• General observations @ 1:40PM> launch did not go very well. Maureen coughed nine times. The number the cops were red-faced. While doing the clean and change at 11 AM. Maya and I noticed the beginnings of a potential pressure ulcer in the same spot we’ve seen them in the past. This is just something to keep an ion right now.

• 1:53PM - Afternoon oral care

• 2:09PM - we are headed to the bedroom in advance of rest break number two. The diaper was medium wet. Maya and I completed the clean and change. We then placed Maureen on her left side.

• 2:23PM- RB#2 begins

• 3:10PM - RB#2 ends. Diaper is dry. We dressed Maureen and then transported her to the front room.

• 3:25PM - Fruit snack
