6:35AM - Maureen is awake. Her diaper is wet
7:35AM - She continues to stir lightly in bed.
Maureen's day officially began @ 8:15AM. Her diaper was medium Maya and I gave Maureen a full bed bath using Aloe Vesta Cleansing Foam and the warmed wipes from the purple packets. Upon completion, Maya did a standard application of the 3M Cavilon Barrier Cream and No-Sting Barrier Film.
Pressure Ulcer Area Update> Maya and I feel the new pressure ulcer area has not increased in size; however, it is redder this morning—especially the lower quartile. See the attached image gallery.
Breakfast service began @ 9:00AM. First order of business was the administration of the thyroid pill. Maureen's posture in the geri chair is good for the most part. We used one green wedge pillow and Magic Mike to perfect her position.
9:20AM - Maya administered the blood pressure medication.

9:27AM - Morning oral care routine commences
9:36AM - Maya cleaned Maureen's eyelashes with Johnson's Baby Shampoo and warm water. She then proceeded to put drops in both eyes.
10:30AM - Organic fruit smoothie
10:50AM - It was time to head to the bedroom for the first of two one-hour rest periods so that Maureen can relieve pressure on her sacrum. Her diaper was medium wet. Maya performed a standard clean and change.
10:57AM - Maureen is now resting on her left side in bed for the next hour.
11:57AM - We initiated the process of getting Maureen up from bed after her one hour rest. Her diaper was medium wet. Maureen also had a medium sized formed bowel movement. Maya cleaned Maureen using the green Medline medicated wipes and Aloe Vesta Cleansing Foam to clean Maureen. We then headed to the kitchen to prepare for the Kathy and Maya to shampoo and style Maureen's hair.
12:25PM - Kathy arrived. She and Maya shampooed and styled Maureen's hair to perfection—as usual.
1:10PM - Lunch | Maureen had 1/2 a turkey sandwich on toasted whole wheat, 1/2 a bowl of green pea and chicken soup and 1/2 a sliced tomato. Maureen also enjoyed 1 12 ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water.
1:40PM - Afternoon oral care session. As Maya was going through the steps, the upper left portion of the gum around the area of the first implant bled a bit. According to Maya, it is "red and puffy." This has and continues to be a bit of a problem area.
1:50PM - We took Maureen to the bedroom for her second one hour installment. Her diaper was medium wet. Maya performed the standard clean and change process. We did note a new very small pimple on Maureen's right buttocks.
2:05PM - Maureen will now rest on her right side for the next hour.
3:05PM - Time to rise and shine for the remainder of the day. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Maya performed a standard clean and change process. After finishing, we headed to the front room to watch TPIR.
3:35PM - Fruit snack.
