Happy Mother’s Day!
8:00 am- Maureen is sound asleep.
8:30 am- Maureen is still sleeping. She looks very calm.
8:40 am- Maureen is waking up. Will give her a few more minutes.
8:50 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce.
8:55 am- We started the day with changing a medium wet diaper. Tom and I cleaned, applied Cavilon barrier film and Cavilon cream. Applied Calazinc , the redness is almost healed. We next washed Maureen’s upper body. No redness observed. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the front room.
9:10 am- Maureen had 5 oz of water. before breakfast, which was omelet, piece of pear, 8 oz of prune juice. Maureen coughed twice.
9:45 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with applesauce.
9:50 am- Morning oral care.
10:00 am- Facial and hand care routine.
10:30 am- Maureen had 5 oz of water.
11:20 am- We transferred Maureen to the bathroom for her first rest break. Diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. There was a slight brownish spot on the diaper only. We positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:30 am.
12:40 pm- After Maureen took a 15 minutes nap in bed, diaper was dry, we dressed her and transferred to the recliner.
12:45 pm- Lunch- Chicken and cabbage soup, Swedish meatballs with noodles, 10 oz cup of coconut water. Maureen coughed twice.
1:30 pm- Oral care.
1:55 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was dry. We positioned her on the left side at 2:05 pm.
3:05 pm- Maureen’s second rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet and she had a large soft bowel movement. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the front room. Transferred Maureen to the recliner.
3:30 pm- Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta’s treatment.
3:45 pm- Maureen had 5 oz of sparkling water.
3:50 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon, apple and banana. Maureen coughed once.
5:00 pm- Maureen’s diaper is dry.
5:05 pm- Dinner- Chicken with vegetables. Maureen coughed twice. She had 10 oz of root beer.
5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.
6:10 pm- Evening oral care.
6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Her diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream and Calazinc cream. Cleaned Maureen’s face and applied Cetaphil lotion to her face, upper and lower extremities. Positioned Maureen on her left side.
