  • 8:00am Maureen is asleep. She is lying on her left side. Maya says Maureen was awake earlier.

  • 8:30am Maureen is still sound asleep.

  • Maureen woke up at 9:04am. She had visible signs of seizure activity. Her arms were twitching and eye movement was absent. Pulse climaxed at 132 and O2 was stable at 97%. She was receptive to water through the swab the whole time. We did not administer Lorazepam. At 9:15am these symptoms relented. O2 is 98% and pulse is 82. She is now responding to me and Maya. No more twitching.

  • 9:35am Maureen's lower extremities were twitching. Her upper body is relaxed. Eyes are half open. She is still receptive to water via swab and responsive to both me and Maya.

  • 9:50am We repositioned Maureen. No visible signs of twitching. She is relaxed and calm. Pulse is 72 and O2 is 96%. We will give Maureen more time to recuperate and will attempt to get our day going when appropriate.

  • 10:15am Maureen is back to how she normally is so we decided to begin our day. Diaper is medium wet - we performed a clean and change and applied 3M products. We next washed Maureen's upper body using warmed wipes from the purple packet and dressed for the day.

  • 10:36am Spoonful of Manuka honey, Levothyroxine with applesauce and Docusate administered.

  • 10:40am Breakfast - banana, oatmeal, 8 oz prune juice, cup of water.

  • 11:14am Lisinopril and Loratidine with applesauce.

  • 11:18am Oral care.

  • 11:24am Morning facial routine.

  • 11:30am We reclined the Geri chair down one notch.

  • General Observation @ 12:00pm - Though our morning started off rough, breakfast went well. Maureen showed no sign of seizure like symptoms and she ate well - only one cough during breakfast. Maureen began to lose energy around 11:30am. Because of our delayed start, Maya and I decided to forego the first rest break and stay in the kitchen until after lunch.

  • 12:45pm Lunch - vegetable soup and a bottle of organic coconut water.

  • 1:12pm Oral care.

  • 1:30pm Since Maureen will only have one rest period for the day, we opted to give her an extended one. We headed to the bedroom. Maureen's diaper is heavy wet. During the clean and change process, Maureen had a large, formed bowel movement. Maureen will lie on her right side for 30 minutes and we will reposition her every 30 minutes. Rest break begins at 1:41pm.

  • 2:11pm We repositioned Maureen on her back.

  • 2:41pm We repositioned Maureen on her left side.

  • 3:11pm Rest break is through. Maureen's diaper is dry. We headed to the front room.

  • 3:24pm Fruit smoothie.
