October 20 daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is sound asleep. She is lying on her left side.

• 8:30am Maureen has not stirred. She is sound asleep.

• 8:48am Our morning begins. Maureen's diaper is medium wet - we cleaned, changed, and applied 3M products. Next, we washed Maureen's upper body using warmed wipes from the purple packet. We then dressed for the day and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:12am Spoonful of Manuka honey and Levothyroxine with applesauce.

• 9:15am Breakfast - banana, oatmeal, 8 oz prune juice, cup of water.

• Daily Miralax dosage - 1/2 cap

• 9:47am Loratidine and Lisinopril with applesauce.

• 9:50am Oral care.

• 9:56am Morning facial routine.

• 10:08am We reclined Maureen's Geri chair one notch down to relieve pressure off her sacrum.

• General Observation @ 10:15am - We had a great morning today. Maureen slept in but was full of energy as soon as we got started. Her eyes were open, she is engaged, and she even gave us a couple smiles. Her position in the Geri chair is excellent. Breakfast saw two coughs with no red face or grinding. Maureen has not dozed off at all.

• 10:30am We returned Maureen to the upright position in the Geri chair. Fruit smoothie. Maureen had an episode of coughing that lasted approximately 3 minutes. She sneezed 3 times and was red in the face throughout the whole ordeal. Coughs were of the grinding variety.

• 11:00am We headed to the bedroom for rest break #1. Maureen's diaper is dry. She will lie on her right side for one hour starting at 11:13am.

• 12:13pm Rest break #1 is through. Maureen's diaper is heavy wet and she had a small, formed, hard bowel movement - we performed a clean and change and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:32pm Lunch - egg salad, potato salad, lentil soup, and a bottle of organic coconut water.

• 1:06pm Oral care.

• General Observation @ 1:15pm - Maureen was still so full of energy when we got going with lunch. She gave us a couple smiles and she occasionally uttered a response to us. She coughed 3 times with one of those the grinding cough we saw earlier. No red face.

• 2:00pm We headed to the bedroom for rest break #2. Maureen's diaper is medium wet - we cleaned and changed. Maureen will lie on her left side for one hour starting at 2:13pm.

• 3:13pm Rest break #2 is through. Maureen's diaper is medium wet - we performed a clean and change and headed to the front room.

• 3:30pm Fruit snack. No coughs.
