November 23 daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is awake. She is lying on her left side. Maya says Maureen has been awake since she got to the house at 6:30am.

• 8:10am Our morning begins. Today is bed bath day. We noted no redness anywhere on Maureen's skin. Diaper is medium wet - we applied 3M products, dressed, and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:42am Administered Levothyroxine with applesauce and 15mL Docusate Sodium.

• 8:45am Breakfast - oatmeal, banana, 8 oz prune juice, cup of water.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage - 1/2 cap.

• 9:05am Administered Lisinopril and Loratidine with applesauce.

• 9:13am Oral care.

• 9:18am We reclined Maureen's geri chair down one notch to relieve pressure off her sacrum.

• 9:25am Eye wash and eye drops.

• 9:30am Morning facial routine.

• 9:35am Maya and I cleaned Maureen's ears.

• General Observation @ 10:00am - Maureen had high levels of energy when we began our day. Breakfast went well - we only saw one cough. Congestion is minimal today. As usual, Maureen's energy started to drop after the morning facial routine and she fell asleep in the geri chair. She is still asleep as of this entry.

• 10:30am Fruit smoothie. 4 coughs.

• 11:00am We headed to the bedroom for rest break #1. Maureen's diaper is medium wet - Maya and I performed a clean and change. Maureen will lie on her right side for one hour starting at 11:13am.

• 12:13pm Rest break #1 is over. Maureen's diaper is dry. We dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30pm Lunch - cauliflower soup, Cheasapeake bay shrimp salad, sliced tomato, bottle of organic coconut water, cup of water. One cough.

• 12:50pm Oral care.

• 1:05pm We headed to the front room in advance of Ann's weekly visit.

• 1:20pm Ann has just arrived.

• 2:00pm We headed to the bedroom for rest break #2. Maureen's diaper is heavy wet - Maya and I performed a clean and change. During the process, Maureen began to have a bowel movement. It looks hard and formed and ultimately, Maureen was unable to pass it. We decided to give Maureen a suppository at this time. Rest break begins at 2:18pm.

• 3:18pm Rest break #2 ends. Maureen's diaper is dry and she had a large, hard, formed bowel movement - Maya and I performed a clean and change. We headed to the front room after.

• 3:35pm Fruit snack.
